‘Pine Cone’ now up for pre-order

Preorders / July 20, 2012

“Pine Cone,” the upcoming album from Tim Kinsella’s Joan Of Arc, is now up for vinyl pre-order over at Joyful Noise. The full length work only contains two tracks, with one called “Side A” and the other, “Side B.” Both are near 20 minutes in length.

The pressing is limited to 500 hand-numbered copies complete with 6-color screen-printed sleeves. It’s set to come out on August 7th. According to Kinsella’s description, it was “Written, Recorded, and Edited at home over an intense two week period in isolation meditating on a Pinecone, Pine Cone is a (mostly) instrumental sonic analogy of the form of a Pinecone.”
