Mobile Fidelity releasing Weezer pressings

Preorders / August 2, 2012

Mobile Fidelity, a label known for their dedication to sound quality, has put two new pressings from Weezer up for pre-order. The first is another pressing of the band’s Blue Album, this time on 180-gram vinyl. The album has also been remastered from the original master tapes. This version is not as pricey as the Universal UK version that we reported on earlier.

The second release is a little more of a prize for record collectors, as Mobile Fidelity is pressing the band’s live EP, “The Lion and The Witch.” Never before released on the format, the live set will again be pressed on 180-gram vinyl and remastered from the original master tapes. The pressing will be limited to only 3,000 copies.

Both pressings will be released in September.
