John Nolan, Mansions announce split

News / September 21, 2012

John Nolan and Mansions will be releasing a 7″ split on October 2nd, through Burning House Records and Collective Confusion Records. The split will feature one new song from each artist, with Mansions contributing “Heavy Dungeon Echo” and Nolan contributing “Cest Le Du Monde (End Of The World).”

Property of Zack had the exclusive and the following messages from both Christopher Browder, of Mansions, and Nolan. They will also have the stream in a couple weeks.

From Christopher Browder:

John Nolan and I got kicked out of a bar together. We’ve played a show where literally no one showed up. We’ve eaten In-N-Out four days in a row. We have a special kind of bond – the kind of bond you have with people who’ve seen you try, and fail, to shotgun a beer. The kind of bond that needs a split seven-inch…

From John Nolan:

I toured with Browder back in the day and it was amazing. I will literally never forget that time in my life – whether I want to or not!

I think about Chris Browder, it’s like thinking about the weird little brother I never had, but love so very much. He’s a great man and a great musician and I’m incredibly psyched to be releasing this record with him.
