The Doors to be featured in vinyl box-set

Preorders / January 18, 2013

Over at Acoustic Sounds, you can now pre-order a vinyl box-set featuring The Doors’ six Morrison-era albums. Each one — The Doors, Strange Days, Waiting For The Sun, The Soft Parade, Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman — will be 2xLP sets, cut at 45 RPM and pressed on 200-gram vinyl. All albums have also been remastered by Doug Sax and The Doors’ original engineer, Bruce Botnick. Additional items include 19 photographs and an essay by former Rolling Stone editor, Ben Fong-Torres. Everything will be housed in a deluxe box.

The sets are limited to 2,500 numbered copies. They are set to be released on February 5th. Check out a really awesome making-of-video concerning the release below.
