Shop Radio Cast has announced that they will be reissuing Quicksand’s 1993 debut, “Slip,” onto vinyl. The album will be reissued on the format for the first time since its initial release, with SRC and Dine Alone Records handling the pre-orders.  All LPs will come in gatefold jackets with Euro inner sleeves. The album has also been remastered.

The total pressing is out of 1,500, with the following variants limited to 500 each: 180-gram red and black swirl (SRC exclusive); 180-gram green and yellow swirl (SRC exclusive); and 180-gram black (Dine Alone exclusive).

Update 7/31/12: The records are now up for pre-order at SRC and Dine Alone. The official release is scheduled for September 11th.

Update 9/6/12: The two variations sold through SRC are now sold out. A second pressing, on 180-gram solid red vinyl, is now up for pre-order. Dine Alone’s stock on 180-gram black vinyl is still available.

Update 1/24/13: The third pressing of the album, on 180-gram black vinyl, is now on sale. The new pressing also includes new packaging, as the records will be housed in tip on jackets and hand-numbered. The 180-gram black variant is limited to 1,000 copies.
