The Format looking into ‘cool vinyl stuff’

News / March 13, 2013

According to a tweet from Sam Means, The Format’s Dog Problems will reportedly be repressed onto vinyl and available in 2013. Means was of course 1/2 of the braintrust behind the group, along with Nate Ruess (Fun.). If you haven’t listened to the band or album, make sure to give it a chance.

The repressing would be a very welcome addition to many collections, as the original pressing goes for an average of $150 to $200 in auctions.

Update 3/13/13: The Format has continued to tease upcoming vinyl releases, posting that “some really cool vinyl stuff is in the works. For real this time. Hold tight :).” Previously, it was just said to be Dog Problems, but hopefully by cool vinyl stuff, he means a box-set or collection of some kind. We’ll just have to wait and see.
