Mondo’s ‘Oblivion’ pressing now on sale

Mondo, the company responsible for the recent pressings of Drive and Poltergeist, has unveiled their next soundtrack release, which is for the highly anticipated science fiction film, Oblivion. The soundtrack features new music from Anthony Gonzalez, otherwise known as M83, while custom, gatefold artwork has been designed by Kilian Eng. The gatefold image is shown above, while the cover art is below.


The 2xLP 180-gram set will be available for purchase on April 26th, through Mondo, with retail sales starting on May 28th. Through the webstore, the vinyl color will be clear, while retail copies will be black. For the exact online sale time, make sure to follow Mondo’s Twitter account. Oblivion stars Tom Cruise and is being released on April 19th, nationwide.

Update 4/12/13: The album is already up for pre-order at Amazon. Pick it up if you won’t be around on the 26th. The retail version is shipped out on or around May 28th.

Update 4/26/13: Mondo’s clear variant is now on sale. The records will begin shipping out on May 15th.
