Stream: Rations — Martyrs and Prisoners

News / June 26, 2013

Modern Vinyl is proud to team up with 86’d Records in a stream of Martyrs and Prisoners, the newest EP from Rations. The 6-track effort, which is currently up for pre-order through 86’d, has been pressed on white vinyl (limited to 1,000) and cut at 45 RPM, while being housed in a high quality, fold-over jacket (holding it in my hands right now, it’s nice). You also receive a lyrics insert and digital download with your order. In other words, if you like the punk songs being premiered below, make sure to pick up a copy.

The records will ship out on July 1st. The release is “a cooperative effort among 30 record labels in 11 different countries across the globe — including Recess Records, Kiss of Death Records, Square of Opposition, and more in the U.S., Eager Beaver Records in Japan, Judas Cradle Recordings in Sweden, Sad Punk Discos in Argentina, and many, many more.” On July 2nd, the band will also release the EP for a free download via freemusicarchive.org.
