Billboard Recap: November 16th

News / November 7, 2013

The Arcade Fire’s brand new full length album, Reflektor, predictably took home the top spot on the Billboard vinyl album chart this past week, while the album also took home the top spot on the overall Billboard 200, moving 140,000 units total. This is also the band’s second straight top-ranked debut, with The Suburbs also placing first in 2010. Could this be the main challenger to Daft Punk for the 2013 overall vinyl sales crown?

Barsuk’s vinyl reissue of Death Cab For Cutie’s Transatlanticism would come in at second place, while Bad Religion’s Christmas Songs would place third. The latter was released by Epitaph Records.
