MCS, Steven Yeun teaming up for split?

News / March 8, 2014

Motion City Soundtrack has apparently announced that they’re teaming up with actor Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) for a split 7″ record. You can see the message below, courtesy of the band’s Facebook account:

Thanks to everyone who came out to Wits last night! We had an amazing time stepping into and out of our element. You were incredible!!!

It was also really great getting to meet and perform with Steven Yeun! Look out for our forthcoming split 7″ this fall with the songs “Glenn’s Song” and “Shovel Love” on it.

If you missed the show, do not fret. Once it is mixed and mastered, it will be aired on the radio and on the internet to be enjoyed by everyone.

Now we must get back to writing album #6.

Much love.

We’ll let you know when more information is announced or if this ends up being a joke of some kind. I added the question mark because several people on our Facebook/Twitter seem to think this is a joke.

Update 3/8/14: We’re still not sure whether or not this is a joke, but you can hear “Glenn’s Song,” below.
