Gatefold release of ‘Walking Dead’ detailed

News / Preorders / March 31, 2014

Update 4/1/14: Spacelab has posted listings for the zombie green flesh variant, a black variant (previously unannounced) and the zombie slipmats. The site is going very slow right now, so be patient.

SpaceLab9 has unveiled several new details of their new The Walking Dead soundtrack release, including color variants. The retail variants will be “black smoke” (Shop Radio Cast, checking on other locations) and “blood red” (exclusive to Hot Topic), while a run of 200 copies will be pressed on “Zombie Flesh Green.” That limited run will be available at the label’s webstore on Tuesday, April 1st, at 1 p.m. (EST, tentatively) and early birds will also have a chance at some zombie slipmats, designed by artist Travis Pitts.

And as previously reported, the records will be packaged in gatefold jackets and will include a poster. The records will be shipped out on or around April 15th.

If you’re just looking for the “black smoke” variant, it’s currently up for pre-order at Shop Radio Cast.
