Right Away, Great Captain! repressings ‘happening’

News / April 4, 2014

Andy Hull, the mind behind Right Away Great Captain, jumped in on one of our Twitter conversations tonight, to assure us that the project’s 4xLP discography set originally released in 2012 will be reissued. A simple “It’s happening” is all that was received, but at least we know that the project is in the works. The first pressing sold out within a few days at a $60 price tag.

If you’re unaware, the 4xLP set included all three Right Away albums, housed in a triple gatefold jacket. You can see all the details in our previous review, here.

Update 4/4/14: Manchester Orchestra are currently doing an AMA over at Reddit and Andy Hull gave us further confirmation that the repress is in the pipeline. So again, don’t pay $300 for one on eBay.
