Stream: Sam Means — Blue Jeans (RSD Release)

News / May 13, 2014

Today, Sam Means put his Record Store Day 2014 release, Blue Jeans, up for streaming over at Bandcamp and below. The release was a 7″ record, limited to 500 copies, and as you could imagine, they sold out very very quickly. The first song, “Blue Jeans,” is notable in its inclusion of Anthony Green, a guest spot which goes far beyond a cameo. It’s a must hear for fans of the frontman.

Meanwhile, the B-side of “Found” has Means in the setting I most enjoy his talents in: garage rock. Anyone who enjoyed his work with The Format, you’ll definitely want this in the rotation.

All 500 copies of the record were sold on RSD, so none will go on sale online.
