Jack White’s Lazaretto, which was recently tops on the Billboard charts for the sixth week, is now the highest selling vinyl record of the past 20 years. It’s now sold 60,000 copies, biggest since Pearl Jam’s 1994 release, Vitalogy.
White has sold 238,000 altogether, meaning vinyl has accounted for 25 percent of sales. The second biggest selling LP of 2014 is Arctic Monkeys’ AM, coming in at 29,000.
