Guided By Voices’ ‘Bee Thousand’ gets reissued

Preorders / December 9, 2014

Guided By Voices’ full length album, Bee Thousand, is getting a 20th anniversary reissue, with newly remastered audio. The new pressing includes that mastering, by John Golden, along with a pressing on virgin vinyl and packaging of a gatefold jacket.

On top of that initial reissue, a companion reissue of King Shit And The Golden Boys, is also incoming. This is a compilation of outtakes and is the album’s first release as a standalone piece. The second side hits on “the best cuts left off of Bee Thousand.” The comp is being pressed on virgin vinyl and packaged in a heavy duty jacket.

Both are being released on January 20th.
