Björk’s ‘Vulnicura’ leaks; now up for order

Preorders / January 27, 2015

Earlier this week, Björk’s eagerly anticipated new album Vulnicura was leaked – nearly two months in advance of its scheduled March 9 release date. In response, Björk (understandably) insisted the album be released immediately across digital platforms. As a result, you can download Vulnicura on iTunes right now.

Unfortunately, the album’s physical copies won’t be available until its original March 9 release date. On the bright side, UK pre-orders for the 2xLP version have appeared on Björk’s official site and One Little Indian’s webstore. (You can also order the album through Amazon UK, but their retail price is considerably higher.) We’ll keep you posted as US pre-orders become available.

Vulnicura is Björk’s eighth album and first since 2011’s multimedia event Biophilia. She was joined on her latest album by Venezuelan producer Arca, Haxan Cloak, and Spaces. You can listen to the album’s opening track “Stonemilker” below.

Update 1/27/15: Vulnicura is now up for pre-order at Amazon.com and Shop Radio Cast. The current domestic retail price is more agreeable $22.
