1st Quarter vinyl sales up 53% on last year

U.S. vinyl album sales between January and March of this year were 53% higher than they were in the same time period of 2014. New releases are up 37% from last year, but the big gains, according to the Nielsen report, is people buying back catalog items (66% increase).

They also stated that sales have increased 260% since 2009 and you can see the largest selling titles since 2010, below.
