So Far In 2015: Top 50 Tracks

News / Special Features / June 23, 2015

With 2015 about halfway through, the Modern Vinyl staff recently got together and picked our 50 top tracks from the first half of the year. Buzzworthy acts Hop Along, Sorority Noise, Turnover and Leon Bridges are joined by longtime stalwarts like Sufjan Stevens, Tame Impala and Modest Mouse. But hopefully it’s our deep digs that separate this list from the norm, with highlights from MV favorites like Owel, Heyrocco and Adult Mom. Whatever your poison, I feel like we’ve got your playlist for the next few weeks.

We’ll be unveiling our top albums of 2015 toward the conclusion of the week. We’ll also have some mid-year pieces on crucial records launching, with a feature on Emile Haynie’s We Fall released last week. Jeff Rosenstock will be highlighted soon.
