‘Star Wars’ vinyl collection being released

Over at Amazon, you can pre-order a new Star Wars vinyl collection, featuring the six films’ soundtracks by John Williams. The collection has each housed in gatefold jackets, replicating the original artwork and audio has been “transferred from the original LP masters using the highest resolution (up to 192kHz/24bit) and pressed with heavy 180gram vinyl.” You’ll also get a digital download. This is the first pressings for both episodes 2 and 3.

The slipcase has a foil Star Wars logo. The set will be released on January 8th.
