Killers announce ‘Sam’s Town’ reissue, Vegas dates

News / Preorders / August 1, 2016

Last week, we wrote on several new reissues from Bong Load Records, including a new pressing of The Killers’ full length album, Sam’s Town. Well, the band has now confirmed the new release to be “the reissue,” writing on their website:

The Sam’s Town vinyl reissue is available for pre-order now via Bong Load Records. The fully re-mastered double LP will be printed on 180 gram classic black vinyl, and feature two bonus tracks – never before heard Sam’s Town era demo “Peace of Mind” and “Read My Mind (Pet Shop Boys Stars are Blazing Mix).” The sequentially numbered records are limited to just 5,016 copies and will include a special edition, coffee table book-style booklet reflecting on the 10th anniversary of the album.

The band will also be playing a couple Vegas shows in honor of the album: Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, NV on September 30 & October 1, 2016.

The records will ship out this fall.
