New Pressing: Flight Of The Concords

News / Preorders / August 3, 2016

Newbury Comics has a new variant of Flight Of The Concords’ ST record. It’s limited to 600 copies on “Baby Poop” vinyl (shit variants are always endearing). Somehow I don’t have this one, so I guess I’ll have to decide between the $25 colored version and the $15 black at Amazon.

Quick side note. Saw them live this year and they played mostly new material, including…”The Ballad of Stana,” which has a western flair and is quite the storytelling epic, “The Seagull,” in which Jermaine explains Bret’s bird/flight metaphor in between lines and a favorite called “Father and Son.”

Hope they record a special or do something with the new(er) tunes.
