Lakeshore announces ‘Stranger Things’ details

More details have been unveiled regarding the Stranger Things soundtrack on vinyl, including a 4xLP box set option. The score, by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of S U R V I V E, will be broken up into 2 volumes (as it is digitally) with the first double LP coming out on October 28th. This is housed in a gatefold jacket and includes a “printed insert featuring album credits and additional art.” Lakeshore is teaming up with Invada for the release.

There will be a vinyl release for volume 2, along with a “4xLP limited edition box set from Invada featuring both volumes of the soundtrack.”

Bull Moose has the first pre-orders up, with black and a “clear with black smoke” variant on sale. Fat Beats has clear vinyl.
