Joel Grind’s ‘Equinox’ coming from Death Waltz

News / Preorders / September 12, 2016

A new entry in the Death Waltz Originals series, Joel Grind’s Equinox, will be up for sale Wednesday at noon CST. The pressing will be limited to 400 copies on “black and orange split vinyl with white and clear splatter.” Grind is the sole member of Toxic Holocaust and goes officially solo here.

Alongside Pentagram Home Video and Slasher Film Festival Strategy, this record represents the very best of the new wave of synth artists inspired by a love for cheap horror films of the 80’s and their unique synth soundtracks. The record pulses with chugging, aggressive keyboards and layers of sound which help create a fully immersive listening experience that, although based in the past, has its sights very firmly set in the future.
