Podcast Roundup: Week of Nov. 6

News / Podcast / November 6, 2016

The Modern Vinyl family of podcasts is comprised of 4 shows, hosted and with financial support through modern-vinyl.com. Here are the episodes that launched this past week.

This week, Joe Urban returns to update us on TakeThisToHeart Records and what will be coming next for the label.

Missing Artwork

Missing Artwork, the newest podcast in the Modern Vinyl family, premieres with guest Dewey Saunders talking his work for Anderson .Paak. Saunders is the brains behind the “Malibu” artwork and talks all about this experience with host Michael Escanuelas.

For the first time, we’re putting a podcast on YouTube (plus the usual audio-only outlets), pertinent given its visual nature. So you can watch or listen and please leave comments on either YouTube or iTunes.

Pilot Study

Continuing our ____ & ____ theme month, we talk the pilot episode of “Dharma & Greg.” From its charming first few minutes, to the avalanche of plot that follows, we come out with relative enjoyment of the ’90s laugh track sitcom and its very ’90s title sequence.

Stay tuned to the end for a preview of next week’s episode.
