Bowie 7″ picture discs continue with ‘Sound and Vision’

News / Preorders / January 16, 2017

The David Bowie series of 7″ picture discs is continuing with a 40th anniversary edition of “Sound and Vision.” The song was originally taken from Low, eventually gave the name to an anthology box-set and is performed by Bowie in the Lazarus stage play. From the item description:

The A-side features a brand new remaster of the track and the flip side sees the first physical release of the 2013 remix of the song. The stripped back remix by Sonjay Prabhakar was originally done for a Sony Experia advertisement and utilizes the original lead vocals and Mary Hopkin’s backing vocal with a new piano part.

The 7″ is being released on Feb. 10.
