RSD 2017: Paul McCartney releasing cassette

News / Record Store Day 2017 / March 13, 2017

Paul McCartney is jumping into the RSD 2017 fold, releasing a cassette of McCartney and Elvis Costello’s Flowers In The Dirt demos. This is in addition to the big Flowers In The Dirt deluxe reissue, which does not include these specific McCartney-Costello demos (they’ll only be available digitally afterwards).

The limited edition cassette-only release will be the first time these recordings – ‘I Don’t Want To Confess’, ‘Shallow Grave’ and ‘Mistress And Maid’- will be made available in the same form as when Paul and Elvis first cut them directly to tape.

Record Store Day will be held on April 22.
