James Horner’s ‘Avatar’ score up for pre-order

The Avatar soundtrack, by James Horner, is coming to vinyl for the first time courtesy of Music On Vinyl. That first run is limited to 5,000 copies on “blue vinyl with a touch of silver,” packaged in a gatefold jacket with art from the film (180-gram black available here). You’ll also get a 6-page insert.

The pressing will be released on May 26.
