Data Discs releasing ‘Metal Slug’ soundtrack

Data Discs has announced their newest soundtrack release, with Metal Slug coming to vinyl and up for pre-order on Saturday, October 7th. This release includes “the complete music from the first entry in the series (Metal Slug: Super Vehicle-001), composed by Takushi Hiyamuta in 1996.” The audio was taken from a NEOGEO development kit, then mastered.

The release is packaged in a gatefold jacket, complete with insert and OBI strip. You’ll also get a download code. Check out the variants below:

  • 180g Orange/Clear/Yellow Tri-Colour with White Splatter (Limited Edition)
  • 180g Opaque Yellow
  • 180g Classic Black
