Beatles 7″ the most expensive 7″ sold on Discogs

News / December 5, 2017

A 7″ single for The Beatles “Love Me Do” sold for $14,757 over on Discogs, registering as the most expensive 7″ sold through the directory in the site’s history. It missed the all-time sales record by only $243 (that record belongs to a promo copy of Prince’s Black Album).

The 7″ was released on Oct. 5, 1962, and is one of 250 released with a misspelling of Paul McCartney’s name (McArtney), making it quite the collector’s item.
