Compilation from Ayalew Mesfin is newest VMP release

News / Preorders / January 24, 2018

The first ever compilation of Ethiopian funk musician Ayalew Mesfin is the new “Record of the Month” over at Vinyl Me, Please. The artist previously had his music released as 7″s, and you can get a taste of the history behind this release through VMP’s liner notes.

The compilation is being pressed on 180-gram maroon wax, with music remastered by Dan Johnson (United Recording Studios) and sourced from Mesfin’s personal collection. You’ll also get those 16-page liner notes and an art print.
