‘Pyre’ soundtrack up for pre-order on vinyl

News / Preorders / February 15, 2018

Prolific writer/producer Darren Korb’s nearly two-hour long soundtrack to Supergiant Games’ indie darling Pyre is available to purchase now through the studio’s webstore.

Available in two versions, the “Pyre Original Soundtrack” comes in a 3xLP, tri-fold set featuring stylized new artwork by Jen Zee, bonus songs not found in the normal version of the soundtrack, as well as download codes for the tracks in MP3 and lossless FLAC.

The “standard edition” comes with three brightly-colored, translucent records in red, orange and blue. Those looking to shell out a bit more cash for one of the stronger video game soundtracks of last year can nab the “black edition” instead, which replaces the colored LPs with 180-gram black.

An additional download for a bonus album set, comprised of both the original soundtrack and new remade versions of the song “Never to Return,” based on different factions found in the game itself, is included with both versions.
