Cadabra Records have released quite a few H.P. Lovecraft stories, but this one is easily their most ambitious: the full, unabridged reading of Lovecraft’s Call of Cthulhu. The choice to release it unabridged is a smart one; Call of Cthulhu is a classic work of strange fiction, full of dark and moody passages illustrating man’s fear of the unknown, and by cutting it down you’d lose a lot of that emotional punch. Cadabra were kind enough to share a snippet with us from Side D, giving our listeners a peek into the madness that’s to come later in May. Pre-order begins March 1st at noon EST.
