Perfect Vinyl offers up vinyl cleaning service

News / April 4, 2018

Perfect Vinyl Forever is a cleaning service that takes your records and removes “all manufacturing residue and light to moderate contaminants from the groove of the record,” in the hopes to make records sound “more transparent and dynamic, and have a noticeably lower noise floor accompanied by an audible reduction in pops and clicks.” They just opened up orders through Amazon, where they’ll ship you a box, where you then send them the records to clean.

They list the multiple ways to use their service:

1. If you live in southeastern Wisconsin you can drop off your records directly at PFV or at Ultra Fidelis in Wauwatosa. We will contact you when your records are available for pickup.

2. If you live in the greater Chicagoland area, you can drop off your records at Quintessence Audio. We will contact you when your records are available for pickup.

3. You can contact us through our website for PVF by Mail services. We will send an invoice payable with PayPal. Please see our PVF by Mail article for more information.

4. You can use the convenience of Amazon to buy our PVF by Mail services. Search for “Perfect Vinyl Forever” (include quotes for better search results), select the quantity of records and services you’d like and we’ll take care of the rest.

5. If you have large collections or unique challenges, we offer our white glove concierge services. Please contact us to discuss what you have in mind.

And check out their workshop over at Instagram.
