‘Speed Racer’ soundtrack up for preorder this week

The Michael Giacchino-penned soundtrack to Speed Racer is getting a release through Mondo, up for preorder this week. With art by Craig Drake (a perfect match for material, honestly), the pressing will be available on both 180-gram white with red stripe vinyl (limited to 1,000) and on 180-gram black. Liner notes come courtesy of Brian Satterwhite.

There’s also a screening version on “Milky Clear w/ Red color-in-color w/ White & Yellow splatter” vinyl, limited to 500.

Records will ship out in late May. Mondo is partnering with Varese Sarabande for the release.

It will be on sale Wednesday at noon CST.
