Zappa’s ‘Burnt Weeny’ getting 180-gram reissue

News / Preorders / May 16, 2018

Frank Zappa’s 1970 album, Burnt Weeny Sandwich, is getting reissued onto 180-gram black vinyl this summer. The audio has been mastered by Bernie Grundman for the release, while cut “directly from the 1970 ¼: stereo safety master tape in 2018.”

You’ll also get a reproduction of the b&w poster, which hasn’t been recreated for any of the later CD releases.

The pressing will be released on June 22.
