Phish’s ‘Baker’s Dozen’ getting released as 6xLP set

Phish, in their release of the 13-show Baker’s Dozen: Live at Madison Square Garden (the huge CD set is 36 discs!), is also dropping some selections on vinyl. These 13 songs have been hand-picked by the band, pressed on 180-gram clear with black splatter wax, and packaged with a photo book.

The set is being released on Nov. 30.

Sacred Bones opens up their Record Society

You can now sign up for Sacred Bones Record Society, in which members get the “most limited version of our next six eligible records, each packaged with a member-exclusive mixtape curated by the artist, plus a member-exclusive t-shirt, a member-exclusive coffee mug, a 12-ounce bag of David Lynch Signature Cup house blend coffee, and your personalized membership card.” You’ll also get an exclusive 12″.

The membership includes albums from Thou, The Holydrug Couple and Marissa Nadler.

GWAR reissues coming this July

Through Metal Blade, some GWAR records are coming back to vinyl. The albums range from ’94 to ’97 — The Toilet Earth, Carnival of Chaos, and Ragnarök. And if you look at the SRC Vinyl listings, they have different color variants, each limited to 1,000.

They’re all coming out on July 27.

Cullen Omori’s ‘The Diet’ up for preorder

The new album from Cullen Omori, titled The Diet, is now up for preorder at Sub Pop. The Loser Edition is on lavender colored vinyl, while a cassette option is also available.

The album is being released on Aug. 17.
